Big reveal teased on reality favourite's social media

Former TOWIE star, Lydia Bright, recently revealed that she was about to be a mum for the first time.

Lydia, 29, has now shared an Instagram story showing her get a baby scan that revealed the gender of her baby.

But there’s a catch.

In the Insta story, Lydia was shown lying down and looking down at the scanner.

Lydia was overjoyed at the prospect of finding out what sex her baby will be, but she’ll have to wait.

She revealed that the name of the gender had been put in an envelope with ‘do not open’ written on it and kept safe for a reveal party this weekend.

“I don’t know how I’m not going to peek at that envelope,” she said. “We’re gonna have to hide it. I’m so excited!”

Earlier, the reality TV star – who features in a new podcast – shared a story that showed Lydia and her sister Georgia on their way to find to the scan.

“So we are en route to find out the sex of my baby.

“So basically what we’re doing is we’re going to the gender scan, and she’s going to put it in an envelope and I’m going to find out on the weekend at my gender reveal party,” she explained.

Last week, Lydia told the world her big news.

However, pregnancy hasn’t been plain sailing for Lydia so far as she also revealed that she has her split from the baby’s father, boyfriend Lee Cronin.

Lydia told Hello!: “It’s not the ideal situation. I waited quite a long time to try for a baby, waited until I thought it was perfect. I’ve always wanted the fairy tale. And it’s obviously not worked out exactly how I wanted.

Revealing that she’s not “closing the door” on her relationship with Lee “completely”, Lydia added: “I feel like I just keep getting knocked back. I can’t beg somebody to be with me, and I can’t beg somebody to love me.”

Focusing on the positives, Lydia says she believes the baby will be the “best thing” that’s ever happened to her and says she feels like it’s the “right time” to become a mother.
