Diva Gemma Collins has dropped a promo video for her new reality show and she’s let slip that she is quite the fibber.
In a teaser clip posted to her Instagram today (July 12), the TOWIE star talked politics.
She is firstly heard declaring: “Brexit…I need to go into politics. I voted out.”
But when Gemma is filmed at a later date, she looks rather awkward as she is asked about her bold statement. In fact, she admits she lied!
She confesses to the camera: “I did tell a bit of a lie there. I was on the spot. I didn’t vote ‘leave Brexit’.”

One disgruntled follower threatened to “boycott” the show after her confession, but most fans voiced their excitement for the new series.
Gemma’s faux pas is the first in a long line of drama that she plans to share in her new series, Diva.
The 38-year-old will be letting the cameras into her life 24/7 as she goes about her business in Essex.
She confirmed the reality show will be hitting screens in August on ITVBe.
Gem told fans on Instagram: “MY VERY OWN SHOW DIVA is out AUGUST #divaforever #itvbe #thegc I love love love all the promo videos 😝 but not as funny as the full one hour … enjoy guys the GC is back ✌🏻 (sic)”.

GC’s showbiz friends showed their support for her new series.
Former TOWIE star Vas J Morgan commented: “Congrats.”
Her Dancing on Ice co-star Alex Murphy wrote: “Omg I cannot wait to see this 😍😍😍😍.”
Meanwhile, Gemma’s ex James Argent proved there is no bad blood as he left these princess and heart emojis on Gemma’s post: “👸 ❤️.”
