Gemma Collins slams reports she bad-mouthed Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield

She's been accused of calling the duo "liars"

Gemma Collins has hit back at reports she branded Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield “liars” after they criticised her lack of professionalism backstage at Dancing On Ice.

On Monday’s This Morning, Holly and Phil expressed their disapproval of the reality star’s attitude after a report claimed the former TOWIE star was being a “diva” on the show by turning up late to rehearsals and disappearing during Sunday night’s show because she got “bored”.

Gemma, 37, has now slammed reports that she bad-mouthed the duo during an Instagram video on Wednesday in which she was telling her fans all the reports weren’t true.

Taking to her Instagram Story to discuss the story claiming she called Holly and Phil “liars,” Gemma said: “Not said that at all.

“Absolutely not said that. I think [Holly and Phil] were given information that wasn’t correct and they have given their opinion on it and there’s nothing wrong with that.

“Hopefully, they’ve been told straight the facts now.”

She continued: “I agree with Holly if I had done that. I would be saying, ‘God how unprofessional.’ I love Holly and Phil. Big up the Holly and Phil.

“There’s no beef here, please stop with this. Holly and Phil have done nothing wrong. They were given some information and they gave their opinion. They’re king and queens of TV so they’re going to do that.

“There’s no bad feeling there. I really really wish this bad press would go away because it’s so upsetting.”

On Monday, Holly and Phil were told about the reports which claimed Gemma left her Dancing On Ice co-stars unimpressed by turning up late to a group training session for week two’s joint dance.

Reacting to the claims, Holly said: “I really love Gemma, I’m a big fan of Gemma’s and I think she’s great on the show.

“But, I think there needs to be a little bit of professionalism that comes into any work you do. Just a little pride in your work. You just shouldn’t do that.”

Phil added: “The entire studio, that is that massive studio with all of the people involved, were all standing there waiting.”

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, it was reported that Gemma was threatening to leave the show after Holly’s comments left her “in floods of tears”.

It was later claimed that Gemma, 37, was refusing to be filmed during rehearsals and even throwing the camera crew off the ice.

On Wednesday, Gemma hit back at all the reports insisting they’re not true.

She said in a clip posted to her Instagram Story: “Obviously I’ve been really devastated by all the hurtful press reports this week, which haven’t been true.

“But I’m not giving up, I’m not quitting. I’ve got the shakes where I’ve been so upset. Please don’t believe what’s been put out there.”
