And this latest rumour about her rising star status is perhaps the most jaw-dropping of the lot…
She’s said to have landed a gig on the Emmy Award nominated prison drama Orange is the New Black.
According to the Sun, the Essex girl is imminently due to fly state-side to work on the top-rating Netflix series, after wowing its bosses.
But don’t expect to see the TOWIE fave banged up behind bars and rocking a prison issued trouser suit though – because her role is said to be something even more spectacular and much more suited to her skill-set…

Because the paper reckons our Gem is heading to New York to work on the show’s social media campaigns after apparently impressing its producers with her own huge online following and social media savviness.
(Her endless stream of Instagram and Twitter posts, in other words).
“Gemma can’t wait to get started,” a source told the paper. “She is bursting with excitement and feels really proud to have landed the job.”
And while it might sound like the most ridiculous scenario ever, Gemma herself seems to have confirmed that something exciting is happening for her across the pond…

In a recent Instagram post Gems shared a pic of Times Square and captioned it with the words:
“So excited to finally tell you all I have landed first AMERICAN JOB so so excited NY City here I come”, and ended it with the hashtag ‘dreambig’.
“Her ‘Queen of Memays’ tag has really paid off,” the mole concluded in its tete-a-tete with the Sun.
