Gemma Collins lets cameras into her home for all-access reality show

What's life with Gemma really like?

Gemma Collins has is letting the world get even closer to her, allowing Irish presenter Lucy Kennedy to move in with her for a weekend, for a new reality show, Livin’ With Lucy.

The TOWIE star gave Lucy full access to her life for three straight days, with the journalist following her from restaurant to salon and back home again.

Ahead of their weekend together Lucy claimed she was excited about the idea, telling VIP Magazine she couldn’t wait.

“I’d say she’ll be good fun and easy to live with. Or at least I hope she will!” she said.

She posted a shot of the two of them to Instagram as filming got underway.

The image was captioned, “Look who it is…. my new housemate @gemmacollins1 wearing sunglasses from her fab plus size shop @gemc_boutique and she posts to Ireland 🇮🇪”

She also shared a video of her and Gemma stuck in traffic, while Gemma sang along enthusiastically to Frank Sinatra’s My Way.

She captioned the video “Love her ❤ ‘Essex has got Talent’ @gemmacollins1 #livingwithlucy”

Gemma’s been documenting the weekend on social media as well, sharing photos and videos to Instagram.

In one video she jokingly asks Lucy to comment on the state of her house.

“Luce,” she asks, “how bad is the dressing room?”

“It’s really bad,” Lucy replies. “There’s animals in there I’ve never even recognised. It’s gross.”

She also posted a group shot of the whole film crew out to dinner, captioned “Lovely evening 🎥🎥🎥🎥 with the crew has a blast with the Irish ☘ crew wearing @boohoo”

And to close out the weekend, she posted a dramatic goodbye, zooming in on Lucy as she waved goodbye.

“Thank you @lucykennedytv we had a blast ☘☘☘ now safe flight and il call you at 4 am lol xx he he,” she said in the caption.

Previous series of Livin’ With Lucy have featured guests including Katie Hopkins, Jedward, and Sarah Harding.

The new series is set to air on RTÉ Two later this year.
