An ITV source told The Sun: “We’re really excited to have Gemma Collins joining the team for the day.

“It’s certainly going to be a lively morning. With Piers, Richard and the GC live in the studio, anything could happen.”

Gem will be working alongside veteran showbiz reporter Richard Arnold, who will be putting her through her paces.

Considering The Only Way Is Essex star’s recent antics on DOI, there’s no doubt anything could happen!

This week, Gemma insisted that she didn’t fake her fall on Dancing On Ice.

She face-planted onto the rink during her live performance at the weekend and hurt her knee. She’s even been using a wheelchair since the incident.

She told The Sun: “It definitely wasn’t faked, one million per cent. If they knew the pain I am in with my knee, they would understand.

“I didn’t fall, I passed out. I was just going and then, next thing, on the ground. What is scary is my teeth could have been smashed out. It was so weird. I don’t think I tripped, I think I blacked out.”

DOI host Phillip Schofield questioned Gemma after she claimed she passed out.

He said: “If she passed out, which I don’t think she did because she put her arms out and her eyes were open.

“That has serious implications if she passed out on ice.”

Well, we can’t wait to see how you get on in your new venture, Gem.
