‘It’s really bad’

Gemma provided commentary on her Insta clips: “I’ve got fence panels down. I mean, it’s really bad.

“Fencing down, panels out. It is just terrible.”

She also explained she hasn’t seen the news on TV because her power is out – but was able to charge her phone in the car.

Gemma was downhearted to see her huge horse ornament Tallulah was no longer upright.

An enormous elephant figure was still intact. But her garden furniture and plants were not as lucky.

She pondered as she pointed the camera at upturned cushions: “I don’t understand how furniture has been blown all around the garden. It is just crazy.

“The only thing that survived the storm is the elephant. Thank goodness.”

Gemma lamented: “My beautiful trees have been blown around.”

But it was sight of two pink gnomes that provoked the biggest reaction from Gemma.

Turning one face upwards, she joked in The GC style: “Morning hun, it’s been terrible hasn’t it?”

Many of her fans expressed sympathy for Gemma’s situation, with scores sending her their best wishes.
