Gemma Collins hits out at worrying ‘rib cage photo’ trend

The Towie star is promoting body positivity

Towie star Gemma Collins has embraced her curves and showed her fans that she is proud of her figure.

The 36-year-old is currently in Portugal and has been posting summer snaps displaying her weight loss.

She has went down to a size 12 from size 22, but it looks like Gem has founded her perfect size.

Uploading a sexy pic of herself in a black swimsuit, Gemma wrote: “I can’t follow this RIB CAGE trend but I can follow my own !

Her snaps didn’t stop there though. Uploading a full body shot of the fashion boutique owner in the same swimsuit, sunglasses and fedora, she wrote: “confidence is KEY to SEXINESS 😘”

Gemma has recently opened up about her struggles to conceive a child, and blames it on her weight.

The brave star spoke to her Towie co-star Charlie Kind about wanting to become a mum, and said: “I still haven’t met the love of my life yet. Being the new found woman that I am, I’ve decided to take the route of freezing my eggs.

“But you know, if you are overweight and you’re trying to have a baby, you’re at a 40 per cent chance, basically. So less than half way.

“I need to lose weight. If I had the body to match I’d be the fittest girl in Essex, I know I would. I’d be pregnant in five minutes.”

Oh, you’ve got to love how honest she is!

During the Towie finale last week, Gemma sweetly asked her best pal Chloe Sims to be her future baby’s godmother!

Aw! She even broke down, and vowed that she will definitely be pregnant soon.

Gemma said: “If nothing happens good for me this year, I am going to go through that pregnancy route.”

“I would like you to be the godmother because you’re a strong woman and I know if anything happens to me, my baby would be alright.

“I really hope I get to be a mum, Chloe.”
