Whatever you think of Gemma Collins, the woman knows how to make an entrance.
The Dancing On Ice star attended the BRITs on Wednesday night, and wore an astonishing red dress, with a hat that fans called: “Daft!”
Gemma – who has her own clothing range – was at the show with Lorraine Kelly’s showbiz presenter Dan Wootton.
Sharing a shot with Dan, the recently-voted-off DOI contestant wrote: “Nothing more to say then ….. @brits ✌🏻what an honour it is to be here @danwootton my date for tonight ❤️.”
She then took to InstaStories to explain the thinking behind the red outfit.
The 38-year-old said: “I am just having my outfit made for the BRITs tonight. It’s all happening…
“So I’m so into Gaga right now. When I saw A Star Is Born, oh my God, I fell in love with her.”
She then asked the team: “Would you say I’m doing a bit of a Gaga tonight? GC inspired by Gaga.”
Showing the designer on his hands and knees cutting cloth, he could be heard commenting that the dress is: “Quite Chanel inspired.”
Later sharing a video from the car when she was “ten minutes away” she said: “I hope to see Hugh Jackman. I’m gonna ask him if we can tap dance together.”

Her 1.3million followers were divided by the dramatic look, with some laughing: “🤔 wtf has she got on 😂😂”. One wrote: “What’s that on your head, it looks daft.” Another blasted: “Looks lovely the red but the hat ffs.”
A third said: “A bit OTT, more appropriate for a day at the races! Feel sorry for poor [bleeps] behind you.” A fourth joked: “Subtle and understated as usual 😣.”
One more laughed: “Wouldn’t want to be sat behind her with that hat on.”
But many more loved the sassy outfit, writing: “Slay!!!!!!! Looking simply stunning Gems!!!!!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥.” Another commented: “Go big or go home and that is a wonderful big beautiful outfit.”
A third told her: “Gemma 🙌🏻 absolutely love how extra you are! This hat and outfit… you look amazing 🙌🏻, you’re an inspiration in making women feel comfortable with themselves.. never change 💗…xx.” One more wrote: “LOVE the outfit!!! Absolutely FABULOUS!!!! 💃💃💃💃💃.”
The popular – and divisive – TOWIE star later called the evening, “the greatest show.”

Gemma wrote, “Wow wow wow” across a video of her fave, Hugh Jackman dancing. She later confirmed she was “having a drink tonight” and showed everyone dancing around her, including music producer Naughty Boy, who she left with.
