Gemma Collins has seemed to confirmed that her tumultuous relationship with TOWIE co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent is over, declaring herself “single” in an Instagram post.
The self-proclaimed diva is set to launch her clothing label in the US, and in a post celebrating her achievements, she snuck in a reference to her new relationship status.

Sharing a screenshot of a Daily Mail article about her new clothing collection, she expressed her excitement at the next stage in her life – emphasising that she’d be facing it on her own.
“Thank you @dailymail for an amazing piece for my clothing brand,” she said. “Taking it stateside – L.A. counting down the days.
“Next chapter of my life and very excited. Single. Successful. #divaforever #notimefordisrespect #freeatlast #knowyourworth”
She followed it up with a post confirming the importance of “being free,” sharing a clip of Madonna giving a speech at the GLAAD Awards.
The clip features the pop icon saying, “Be free and take a stand and say ‘this is who I am, like it or not.'”
Gemma’s posts come just days after Arg had seemed to suggest the pair had reconciled, posting a sweet clip to Instagram showing him and Gemma dancing.
The clip was captioned “Can’t live with you… Can’t live without you,” followed by a heart emoji.
The couple reportedly ended their relationship last month after a massive fight over Arg’s recent weight gain.
According to The Sun Gemma had broken things off, and started looking forward to her life without Arg.
“At the moment Gemma is determined to get on with her life and wants to be alone without any visits from James,” their source said.

At the time Gemma’s reps confirmed the split, saying: “Gemma had no choice but to end the relationship.”
But after Arg’s Instagram post fans started to hope they were going to make things work after all.
