It’s all happening for Gemma Collins at the moment – she’s releasing a book, filming her own reality show, all while keeping her boutique store going.
But there’s a cost to being the woman of the moment – you can’t do everything at once.

Gemma’s had to choose between books and TV, and for now, she’s chosen TV, cancelling her book tour to concentrate on filming.
She was scheduled to appear at book signings across the country, planning appearances at Reading, Leicester and Milton Keynes on Friday alone, to promote her new book, The GC: How To Be A Diva.
She’s reportedly disappointed to have to cancel the appearances, and has promised to make it up to her fans.
The Sun Online spoke to friends of the TOWIE star, who confirmed that Gemma was too busy to make the signings.
“After getting her own TV show Gemma’s world has been turned upside down with filming,” The Sun’s source said.
“Her schedule is none stop and with that in mind, it was going to be nearly impossible for her to make any of those dates.
“She’s gutted because Gemma adores her fans and loves meeting them. She’s trying to work out a way of making it up to them.”
This comes after Gemma was the subject of a viral interview with Now magazine – when she objected to being interviewed by a journalist who hadn’t read her book.
Her displeasure at discovering this lasted the whole interview – with Gemma commenting “Ok, so you’re doing this interview without having done any research or read the book or anything?”
She responded to the story going viral on twitter, saying “Guys 💫💫 thank you for making me trend on Twitter today what a laugh a ✌🏻😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘✌🏻😘”
It’s not just books that are falling victim to Gemma’s heavy schedule – conflicting work schedules have meant time apart for her and boyfriend James “Arg” Argent.

Gemma posted a shot to Instagram of the pair in the middle of a video chat – commenting on how much she missed her beau.
The caption read “I miss and love you so much @real_arg 💖💗💖 thank goodness for FaceTime our work keeps us apart sometimes which is really hard on the heart but not many more sleeps till we’re reunited 💗💖💗”
