Gemma Atkinson was targeted by a troll this week – and fans rushed to her defence.
On Instagram, the actress and reality TV star, 35, posted two snaps of herself as she messed around with her partner Gorka Marquez, 29.

The first pic shows them looking happy together, all glowing smiles, Gemma’s hand placed lovingly on her Strictly beau’s shoulder.
In the second, the pair appear miserable as they huddle together in hooded tops, joking as they frown at the recent rain storms.
Gemma wrote in the caption: “British summer! Expectations VS reality! Bye bye sunshine.”

While the majority of her followers praised the post and found it hilarious, one troll, predictably, decided to criticise Gemma’s appearance.
They wrote, cruelly: “OMG the wrinkles! Motherhood definitely doesn’t suit you.”

Gemma’s legions of fans came out to defend her, slamming the troll’s “vile” comment and asking, “What the hell is wrong with people?”
One said: “Wow, you are bitter and nasty!”
Another wrote: “You know, it’s possible to scroll by and not say anything? Try it next time.”
Gemma, you are a gorgeous person inside and out.
A third said: “What a horrible thing to say! Why on earth would you think it is okay to comment something like that?”
Someone else told the troll: “Evil or what? Have you seen this lady, she is absolutely killing motherhood.”
“What an awful thing to say!” commented a fifth, adding: “Gemma, you are a gorgeous person inside and out.”
Fans also loved Gemma’s blunt reply.

Last week, the former Hollyoaks actress impressed as she stripped down to her underwear for a sweaty session at her home gym.
She posted about it on her Instagram Stories, telling fans as she dripped with perspiration: “Wow! That was tough but it was good!”
