Frankie Bridge shows off daring new look

She's hardly recognisable

Frankie Bridge who is known for being a band member of The Saturdays, always sported a brunette pixie cut while her fellow band mates let their long locks flow.

The singer has kept the same short haircut for years, intermittently trying a slightly longer look here and there, but without a drastic change. Until now.

She debuted her jaw-dropping new look on Instagram in a cute picture with her retired footballer husband Wayne Bridge. She stunned fans with her change of hair colour to a sizzling blonde.

She kept the short pixie cut, so she now looks like a real life Tinkerbell! The black and white side profile photo she posted online has received nearly 20,000 likes.

She didn’t seem to even discuss the new look in the caption of the image, as she just referenced that she and her hubby were at a wedding.

Fans went crazy for the singer’s new daring look, with many voicing their approval with comments like: “Love your hair,” while one fan even said: “You make me wanna chop all my hair off!”

Before she revealed her new do, she allowed fans to follow the transformation via her Instagram Stories where she posted a snap with foils in her hair and the caption: “Something’s going down.”

She then posted a sneak preview when she took to her Instagram Stories to show a close up side profile, showing a small peak of hair which looked to have tones of silver in it.

Frankie has been married to Wayne since 2014 and they share two sons, Carter and Parker. The 28-year-old first found fame as part of S Club 8, before becoming a member of The Saturdays in 2007.

It was recently announced that her friend and fellow band mate Mollie King would be taking part in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing. Frankie herself was on the show back in 2014.

Mollie told Frankie that she was going to be on the hit BBC show earlier this month, and said she got a surprising reaction.

Mollie told BBC’s Nick Grimshaw: “She was so excited she had to pull over the car and stop.”
