Former TOWIE star claims ex-boyfriend was a FEEDER

The reality babe says she "ate a lot!"

TOWIE star Frankie Essex has hit back at her ex, saying he was a feeder and she was miserable while she was with him.

The gorgeous blonde split from John Lyons last year, and claims he was the reason she put on weight and ended up depressed.

Frankie has lost nearly three stone in 12 months, going from a size 14-16 to a size 8, and is even about to release a fitness DVD.

AMAZING.

But Miss Essex has opened up and revealed the real reason behind her weight gain.

She told New magazine: "I was depressed when I was with him anyway.

"I felt s***. I ate a lot, he was a feeder. It was a fight in me to be the winner."

Talking about the issues in her relationship, she continued: "Just everything. I think. My ex-boyfriend, my mum, I lost a lot of friends when I first got on TOWIE.

"I'm still sad about all this now and I've had a bit of a s*** life, but who hasn't?

"If I can help one person wake up and feel better, then I've done my job."

How lovely is that?

Frankie - who's mum died when she was just 13 - hopes her DVD Weight Loss Workouts will help people with depression and anxiety to transform their lives.

Previously, she opened up to The Sun about how bad she really felt.

She said: "This time last year I didn't want to wake up the next day, I couldn't get out of bed.

"I was in a hole, drinking and going out. I was burying my head in the sand, I was in a really bad way, overweight and in a bad relationship that I wanted to get out of.

"Drink for me is a depressant and if I had a drink, I would wake up on my own and not know what to do with myself so I'd just sit in everyday, eat and just think about the bad times and the s*** times and feel sorry for myself."

But after falling in love with exercise, Frankie is looking more beautiful than ever. Good for you!
