An old face could make a return to Strictly Come Dancing and we couldn’t be happier!
Kristina Rihanoff said she would love to return to the show if the opportunity presented itself.
The Russian dancer was a professional on the BBC programme from 2008 until last year’s series.
Earlier this year, she took part in Celebrity Big Brother and in summer she welcomed her first child, a daughter called Milena, with her boyfriend and former Strictly partner Ben Cohen.
And now the 39-year-old has said that she does “fancy” returning to the Strictly dancefloor.
During an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, she was asked by the host if she would go back.
She said: “Do you know what, I do fancy that.

“I think because I have so much passion for dancing and for actually, perhaps being in that environment, you know seeing other people developing you know and sort of being part of someone’s journey, it’s amazing I think so, yeah why not.

“If they ask me to be there I will be there. Why not?”
In an interview earlier this year with Hello magazine, Kristina confirmed she was going to be waltzing away from Strictly.
She said: “It’s a bittersweet situation. I was on Strictly for eight years and I loved the dancing side of it, but I feel relieved because I wasn’t happy towards the end. I’m going to miss everyone.”
During her time on the show, she was partnered with the likes of John Sergeant, Simon Webbe, Colin Salmon and Jason Donovan.
She was also in a relationship with her former Strictly partner Joe Calzaghe for several years, and started a romance with Ben – with whom she was partnered in 2013 on the show – last year after he split from his wife.
