Going grey at 30!

Adam Thomas has revealed the downside of an upcoming new venture, which couldn’t be any further away from his former role in Emmerdale.

The actor, 30, recently announced he would be launching a new bar and restaurant, which he described as a lifelong dream.

Last month, Adam told his 784,000 Instagram followers that he was about to launch his own eaterie in Gatley, Cheadle.

He wrote: “Been wanting to have our own bar/restaurant as far back as we can remember and we’ve finally done it!

“Teaming up with my partner in crime @ohmyglaze to bring you @thespinn_ coming soon to a village near you.

“Can’t wait to open the doors and let you guys see what we’ve been working on!”

However, just weeks later, the dad-of-two has revealed the side effects of such a big career move.

He told his social media followers that the stress of the planning had left him with grey hairs!

He wrote: “If you’re thinking about opening a restaurant, it will make you go grey.”

Adam, who played Adam Barton in the ITV soap, also shared a photo of his hair up, with visible grey hairs showing.

The former soap star also paid tribute to his famous brothers, by posting a heartfelt message to them – alongside a picture of them using the latest craze of the ageing app.

Alongside the altered photos of older brother Ryan and twin Scott, also actors, he wrote: “Hope I get to grow old with you boys I really do… Losing either one of you would be like losing a part of me. It’s sad to say but, the truth is one day, that day will come but I hope we can all look at each other as old men and say we had a good life!”

He added: “And so far no regrets boys! I can’t wait to go on so many more journeys and adventures with you boys. I know we don’t always see eye to eye – we’re brothers, of course, we don’t – but as brothers our love will never die!”

Adam went on to admit he was being a “bit soppy for a Tuesday afternoon, but this pic got me… Here’s to growing old with a smile my brothers”.
