And the Holby City star posted a picture of a room full of flowers which had been sent to their home by well-wishers.

The 60-year-old used the photo to thank family, friends and fans for sending tributes to his late daughter.

While the windows were kept closed by shutters, the living room was full of dozens of bunches of flowers, including roses, daisies and sunflowers.

The bright colourful scene also included a heart-shaped balloon.

John wrote a message to go along with the picture, saying: “Thank you to everyone who sent flowers and cards and lovely messages for Louella.”

John had previously spoken about his daughter Louella, describing her as their “angel”.

“She touched so many lives. She was so very positive, so bright, so out there. She had such energy. The tributes to her have been incredible.”

He had previously posted a picture of Louella sewing her costume as she got ready for Bestival. But tragically she died at the festival.

When news of the tragic death broke, it was reported that a man had been arrested for questioning.

However, the man in question – Louella’s boyfriend Ceon Broughton – was released under investigation.

Speaking to The Sun, John said: “It was just a tragic mistake, a tragic accident.

“This was not a murder. They were girlfriend and boyfriend.”
