Former Coronation Street babe set to take Hollywood by storm!

Her 'people' reckon she's the next Catherine Zeta Jones...

It’s a bit of a rite of passage when you leave a soap to announce that you’re heading off to big things/ pastures new/ spend some time with your family etc etc only to rock up on Holby/ the next series of Strictly.

But Georgia May Foote – who actually did do Strictly so we weren’t lying – has taken the plan one step further and actually relocated to Hollywood, where she’s now living in a fancy pad with a pool.

See, told you – nice pool. You’re wondering about the fella, aren’t you?

Well Georgia – who played Katy Armstrong in Corrie – is currently dating model George Alsford, and the pair have taken the decision to move to Los Angeles together.

Since she moved to the US, Georgia has been posting a series of envy-inducing images like one of her next to Audrey Hepburn’s star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and another of her and her bloke scoffing giant burgers and beer.

So can she make it? Or will she be back on the cobbles in a couple of years?

Well, a source reckons she’s got a great chance.

That source revealed to the Sunday People: “US corporations will absolutely love Georgia.

“She has the English accent, the smouldering good looks and she can act and sing.

“She is also a virtual unknown in the US, so that will go in her favour.

She’s also getting some help from her mate Lucien Laviscount, who used to be in Corrie and has now starred in a host of US shows including Snatch. And it sounds like she owes him a burger too.

“Lucien knows the business now and he’s helping to open a few doors for her,” added the source.

Apparently Georgia’s management team are tipping her to be the next Catherine Zeta Jones.

Though if that’s true, she’s going to have to do some serious work on her Welsh accent.
