Actress Katherine Kelly has gone for the chop big time as she’s cut her long blonde locks and gone for a brunette bob!
Revealing the new look on her Instagram Stories, Katherine wrote: “Chop, chop!” on the image.

In fact, Katherine had already made the change from blonde to brunette.
Earlier this year at the Prince’s Trust Awards, she was seen in the red carpet with a longer brown hair pulled back in a stylish up do.
But she’s most recognisable blonde, especially back in her Becky McDonald days.
Sadly though, we won’t be seeing Becky back on the cobbles any time soon, as just last year Katherine disappointed fans by revealing her feisty barmaid character has definitely left Weatherfield for good.

The ex-wife of serial lothario Steve McDonald, Becky left in 2012 after a tumultuous six years on the cobbles.
And Katherine, who has since made a huge name for herself on TV, has admitted her character was very much “of its time”.
Responding to OK! who asked if she’d ever return to Corrie, Katherine said: “I’ve been asked this question so many times, that I actually think about it very deeply.”
She continued: “I think that even though it was left open, it would be hard for her to go back [because] Becky was very much of her time.
“She couldn’t go back looking like she did. I think it would be a let-down. I think some things are better left as they are.”
Viewers last saw Becky when she flew out to Barbados with Danny after exposing Tracy’s lies on Tracy and Steve’s (first) wedding day.

While Katherine won’t be reprising her role as Becky, her career is going from strength to strength.
She played a university professor who realised that one of her “average students” had cheated after she handed in a remarkable paper in hit ITV drama Cheat earlier this year.
The show took many twists and turns and earned great reviews for Katherine – but viewers were shocked at a raunchy solo sex scene.
She’s also set to star in the second series of hit ITV show Liar as well as new Netflix drama, Criminal, with David Tennant.
