Former Big Brother winner now working as a cleaner

Well, this has come as a bit of a shock!

Former Big Brother winner Pete Bennett has gone down a different career path – he’s set up his own cleaning company!

He walked away with the £100,000 prize money after finishing in top place in the 2006 series, and he enjoyed fame and attention upon his exit.

He embarked on a relationship with fellow housemate Nikki Grahame and things seemed to be rosy.

But a battle against drug addiction brought the star back down to earth with a bump.

He told the Jeremy Kyle Show in 2015 that his addiction had led to him being made homeless.

But now he seems to have turned his life around and will clean your house for £100 an hour.

The new venture is called Celebriclean, and Pete wrote on the company’s Facebook page:

“I am proud to announce I’ve started my new cleaning business.

“So if you need your place spotless, then gizza call, I’m your man! Selfies and FUN included.”

Speaking to Daily Star about his new business last year, the 34-year old, who has Tourette’s Syndrome, said:

“I don’t mind getting my hands dirty and I’ll do any sort of cleaning job.

“I think other celebrities will definitely come on board because there are a lot who need money between the work. It’ll be a good laugh. I love meeting new people.”

And he also assured anyone who might be considering paying for his services that they’d get a good job out of him.

“It’s definitely a novel way of getting a cleaner in but it’s not a gimmick, I will definitely clean their homes, I’m pretty good at it.”
