“Fiery” footballer’s wife headed for the jungle

This WAG had been in talks before but was forced to pull out at the last minute!

Wow! 2017 is speeding along so quickly isn’t it?

It’s already May, but it feels like only yesterday that Scarlett Moffatt was crowned queen of the jungle.

And now there are rumblings (in the jungle) about who might be heading to Australia later in the year for the next series of I’m A Celebrity.

And one name that has already been thrown into the mix is Rebekah Vardy.

Who?

Er, she’s the wifey of Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy.

According to The Sun, the WAG has been in discussions with producers for sometime.

Originally she had been set to appear in the last series but was forced to pull out when she fell pregnant.

Now having given birth to Finley in January, Rebekah’s team are once again talking to producers about appearing on the show.

“Bosses were really keen on Becky last year and had some very productive discussions,” the source said. “They are planning to have another chat with her this year.

“She’s glamorous but she’s fiery too. She could bring lots to the table and she seemed keen before.

“Having had a healthy baby back in January, she’d be available when the show returns later this year.”

If she does make it into the jungle we reckon she will relish the show’s waterfall shower.

But not for the reasons you might think.

While the likes of Myleene Klass and Ola Jordan used the shower as way of transforming themselves in to pin ups, we reckon Rebekah might use it as way of encouraging real women to be happy about their bodies.

Recently she posed in a magazine for photoshop-free shoot which showed off her natural body after child birth.

She said:  “I think it’s really important that perfection doesn’t exist, which is why I did the shoot and to say look, this is what reality looks like after having children.

“There’s nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to hide away from.”

Hear, hear, Rebekah!
