Ferne McCann shares first pic of daughter Sunday’s little face on cover of glossy

The reality star reveals she had a very difficult birth

Ferne McCann has opened up about her new baby daughter’s traumatic birth.

The reality star welcomed her first child, named Sunday, on November 2.

And now, in an exclusive photoshoot and interview with OK! Magazine, the 27-year-old has spoken about the difficult experience.

The new mum revealed she lost a lot of blood during her delivery.

“After I had given birth, my mum told me the staff thought I was haemorrhaging because I was losing so much blood,” she explained.

“I wasn’t aware of any of this at the time, though. After Sunday came out I started shaking like crazy, it was uncontrollable.

“I think it was just the adrenaline and the huge shock my body had just gone through, as any new mum can attest.”

Ferne didn’t go through the birth alone – she had her mum by her side in the delivery room.

And it was her mum who cut the umbilical cord.

“It meant to much for her to be involved in the birth, so it was a really lovely moment.

“I honestly couldn’t have done it all without her.”

Telling OK! about her traumatic delivery, Ferne added: “I gave birth on all fours.

“Normally when you’re in that position, the midwife passes the baby through your legs so you can see them but her umbilical cord was really short, so she couldn’t reach.

“It felt like it took forever for me to manoeuvre myself enough to see her, even though it was probably only a matter of seconds.”

Since her arrival, Ferne has been sharing pictures of adorable Sunday on Instagram.

She will be raising Sunday on her own, as her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins has been imprisoned for his part in an acid attack in a nightclub in east London which left 22 people injured.

But she also revealed her former TOWIE castmates and showbiz pals have been a huge support.

“I’ve got loads of friends who live nearby, and they’ve all been round to visit,” she explained.

“Billie Faiers was one of the first people to come over, she welled up when she saw Sunday.

“Danielle Armstrong, Jess Wright, James Argent and Gemma Collins have all popped round too.

“I’ve seen a lot of Vicky Pattison as well. We got together to watch the first episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and I took Sunday out for the first time to go wedding dress shopping with her.”
