Ferne McCann accused of disrespecting victims of her ex’s acid attack

Her new series has upset some

| Updated:

Upset victims of Arthur Collins’s acid attack have slammed his ex-girlfriend Ferne McCann for, they claim, making money from their misery.

They watched the TOWIE and I’m A Celeb star on her reality show Ferne: First Time Mum last night.

Ferne cried on the ITVBe show as she described her life since Collins was arrested for carrying out the acid attack.

She said it had been tough going through her pregnancy – and giving birth to baby Sunday – alone.

But victims of the attack have criticised the new mum for cashing in on their experiences.

“We’ve been through enough without this adding to our anxieties,” Phoebe Georgiou told Sun Online. “She’s making money from our misery.”

“I have to live every day remembering the trauma and pain that I went through and still go through.

“I have to look in the mirror every day and see the damage he has caused.”

Another victim, who didn’t want to be named in case of a backlash from Ferne’s fans, was even more critical.

“How can she sit there and say it’s hell?” the victim asked. “She’s not blind or plastered in scars like some of us. She’s making money out of this, it’s all just me, me, me.

“Every time her face pops up I think of Arthur Collins.

“She put someone like him in the spotlight.”

A source linked to Ferne has denied that she’s making money from the attack.

Last month Collins was convicted of carrying out an acid attack at a nightclub in East London.

He threw the substance over clubbers, injuring more than a dozen of them on the dancefloor.
