They may not work together anymore, but there is obviously still a great deal of affection between Fern Britton and her former This Morning co-star, John Leslie.
John, who presented This Morning with Fern between 1999 and 2002 before being replaced by Phillip Schofield in 2003, uploaded a sweet snap to his Twitter page on Saturday night.
The picture shows the pair enjoying a night out and looking very at ease in each other’s company.

John captioned on the pic: “Well what an absolutely amazing heartwarming and funny show @thegirlsmusical is could not stop laughing ….and crying #dontmissit and my sister is just as special on stage #fern_britton.”
He was referring to a performance of Calendar Girls the Musical, which Fern stars in.
Fern later retweeted her old pal’s message.
It’s not the first time the pair have shared snaps of their meet ups. Fern, who left This Morning in 2009, uploaded a picture of the twosome celebrating her birthday back in July, and referred to 6 foot 4 inch tall John as her ‘little brother’.

“The best birthday present!” she wrote. “Meeting up with my ‘little brother’ after too long. Tears and love xxxx”. She then @-ed her friend into the tweet.
John later returned the compliment, tweeting: “Can’t say how much today meant to me. Had a long overdue catch up with one of my best friends, which made it even more special.”
John has had a tough time this past year after he was accused of sexually assaulting a women as they danced on her hen night in the Atik nightclub in Edinburgh last June, an allegation he vehemently denied.
John was cleared of the claims in June.
In July, John returned to This Morning to speak about how the allegations “ruined” his life.
During the chat, he also spoke about his relationship with Fern.
He admitted he regrets “breaking up the relationship” he shared with Fern on the daytime show.
When asked if he would like to be back on TV, John said: “Not really. I don’t think I can handle it. I miss this [This Morning] it’s an experience, and I feel like I’m in a parallel universe.
“It’s bizarre. I loved the job as you know, and I regret breaking up the relationship with Fern.”
