Fearne Cotton reveals why she can’t share a bed with her husband

Frustrated Fearne admits: "It's so silly"

Fearne Cotton says she won’t share a bed with her husband because of a fear that he will wake her up.

The TV personality, 38, is married to Ronnie Wood’s musician son Jesse Wood, 42, and they have two young children together.

Speaking to the Mail Online, Fearne explained why she has a separate bedroom to Jesse in their £2 million South London home.

“I’ve got this stupid neurosis where I have to go to bed before him,” she is reported to have said.

Fearne continued: “Otherwise I get this weird panic that he will come in and wake me up, and that’s what makes me unable to get to sleep.

“It doesn’t make any sense, it’s so silly.”

The DJ and podcaster previously elaborated on struggles with anxiety earlier this year during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine.

Speaking about panic attacks, Fearne said: “I still get them all the time.

“That’s still something I’m trying to combat and find help for.

She continued: “But what I’ve learned from talking about these subjects is that so many people are going through it and so many people want to have that connection with somebody else who has also experienced it.”

Fearne also hosts her wellbeing podcast Happy Place in which she interviews high-profile figures on everything from anxiety to addiction to self image.
