Have you ever had something happen where you just start questioning everything you thought you knew about life?
It happened to us this morning as we settled in to watch This Morning at half ten.
As always, we expected to see our regular Friday hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford at the helm, after four days with Holly and Phil.
So we were totally discombobulated when ITV’s golden couple themselves were still in the studio – and so were they!
Phil opened the show by saying: “What’s happened here, we’re here on a Friday?!”
And Holly replied: “This is weird!”
Viewers were just as mystified, with one tweeting: “It’s Friday and @schofe @hollywills are on?! What’s going on??? Not that I’m complaining!!!”

Another said: “I’m so confused. Why are Holly and Phil presenting on a Friday?”
Holly and Phil were joined in the studio by money saving expert Martin Lewis, chef Jamie Oliver and the usual host of other guests.
And they also had a controversial segment debating whether schools should ban the tradition of kids giving their teachers Christmas gifts.
Regular viewers of the ITV staple can look forward to some more changes from next week, as well.
Holly and Phil were working today as it was their last day on the job before breaking up for Christmas.

Which means regular stand-ins Amanda Holden and Ben Shephard are expected to fill in for the pair next week.
So that’s something to look forward to!
