Fans unhappy after Loose Women is forced to cancel last minute

The Prime Minister gave a shock speech earlier today forcing the show off air

Loose Women viewers are completely outraged as the show has been forced to cancel today’s episode due to the unexpected announcement from Theresa May.

As fans waited for the lunchtime show to come on air they were left “gutted” after it was pulled last minute and replaced by live coverage of the news.

The ITV show’s Twitter announced the news by tweeting: “Due to @Number10gov making the general election announcement today, Loose Women will NOT be on air.

“We’ll be back on air tomorrow lunchtime as usual! #GeneralElection.”

And of course viewers were NOT happy.

One raged: “Great so #thismorning taken off air now #LooseWomen..how many times can we be told there’s going to be an election.”

Another ranted: “OMG ! First @thismorning gets pulled off the air and now this as well, why can’t the latest news be on the air at the normal time of 1:30pm.”

“As a fan of the show, I am gutted #LooseWomen #GeneralElection,” a third tweeted.

Another added: “If I wanted to watch the news all day I would turn to news channels not fair they force it down our necks just people guessing so cross.”

“I’d much rather watch Loose Women. It makes much more sense to me. We should have a loose women party in parliament. They’d get my vote,” one said.

Meanwhile others were pleased the show wouldn’t be airing.

One wrote: “If only #LooseWomen was cancelled, for good.”

“The first good thing #TheresaMay has done!! #LooseWomen cancelled!!! #GeneralElection #GeneralElection2017,” another added.

This comes shortly after This Morning was cut short as the Prime Minister made her speech announcing there will be a snap general election on 8th June, outside Downing Street.

Presenter Eamonn Holmes earlier announced that Theresa May would be making an important speech during the show, and that they would bring us all the details.

But fans didn’t expect the rest of the show to be cancelled and expressed their outrage on Twitter.

One said: “PM ruining daytime tv I want Ruth & eammon back lol #ThisMorning.”

“Put #ThisMorning back on. I’m bored now,” another tweeted.
