As well as enjoying the beautiful scenery Gordon was also there to watch the gruelling Kailua-Kona World Ironman Championships.

Speaking about the event, Gordon captioned the post: “One of the most incredible feelings ever sat in the water on the start line minutes before the cannon goes off.

“Good luck to all the athletes taking part and a big thank you to all the supporters and helpers, let the island come to you. Best wishes and race safe. Next year I’m coming back can’t wait.”

Fans rushed to compliment the dad-of-four’s incredible physique.

One said: “Wow. Smokin hot.”

Another gushed: “Damn! Looking good there Ramsay!”

“You look fantastic,” another wrote.

The star has taken a break away in Hawaii just before his new upcoming ITV documentary, Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine, airs which sees him investigating the drug industry.

The two-part documentary will see Gordon observe the drug being “cooked” before meeting drug smugglers and the UK police force battling the problem.

The show is part of ITV’s new Crime & Punishment season which also features shocking documentaries from Piers Morgan, Susanna Reid, Ross Kemp and Sir Trevor McDonald.

In a teaser clip from the two-part series, the star admitted he didn’t realise just how common the drug is.

He said: “I knew it was going to be intense but not quite like this.

“Year on year, death after death. That’s the devastation I think. And yet, no-one wants to talk about it, but they all want to [expletive] snort it.”

In another clip Gordon claims that some diners have even asked him to sprinkle the drug on their desserts.

He said: “I saw cocaine quite early on in my career. I’ve been served it. I’ve been given it.

“I’ve had my hand shaken and left with little wraps of foil in it. I’ve been asked to dust cocaine on top of soufflés, to put it on as icing sugar… coke’s everywhere. It’s spiralling out of control.”

Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine starts on October 19 at 9pm on ITV.
