Louise Redknapp has opened up to her fans about staying positive, with an emotional message.

Taking to Instagram, the singer-turned-West End star, vowed to “smile through the tears,” as her followers thanked her for her honesty.

Louise, 44, shared the inspiring quote, alongside the caption: “🖤have a beaut Saturday x.”

The screengrab read: “Someday everything will make perfect sense. So, for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.”

Her fans loved the message, with one commenting: “Nice to hear some positivity – thank you for that thought.”

Another said: “Good words to live by… especially in this confusing world we’ve created.”

A third wrote: “Totally agree. There is a reason for everything – may take years for the reason to make itself known but it will happen.”

One more told Louise: “Thinking of you. We get on with life but don’t know ‘why’. It must still be extremely painful, so I hope you’re getting some comfort.”

Others said it was just what they needed to hear, commenting: “Absolutely need to see this right now! Thank you!”

The post comes after Louise opened up about her divorce from former footballer Jamie Redknapp.

The pop star – best known for her time as part of band Eternal – shares two children with Jamie – Charley, 14, and Beau, nine.

The couple married in 1998 but split in 2017 after nearly twenty years.

Strictly Come Dancing star Louise opened up in an interview on Heart Radio earlier this month, admitting it’s been a “really tough” time since they split, but how Jamie, 45, is still her “best friend”.

She added that they still regularly see each other, saying: “I saw him yesterday and it was all good. We had school meetings and stuff, like you do, so all good.”
