EastEnders fans were in fits of laughter during last night’s episode when Robbie Jackson and Donna Yates were panic-stricken after being locked in the Queen Vic kitchen.

The crafty move was pulled by Whitney Dean who – convinced the pair are into each other – tried to set them up.
Hapless Robbie (Dean Gaffney) – who’s never been the sharpest tool in the box – wasn’t impressed with the move and ranted about having a presentation to prepare for.
It was pretty tense times for the Robster, trapped with no way out.
Apart from through that clearly labelled fire door, perhaps?
Oops.
As the dopey pair complained about their terrible situation, viewers at home raced to Twitter to laugh at the predicament.
“Donna and Robbie are locked in the kitchen next to a fire escape? Just open the door #eastenders,” wrote one viewer.
Another added: “Funny that robbie and donna supposedly are locked in the kitchen of the vic, erm there is a fire exit right there……der @bbceastenders #EastEnders.”
While a third pointed out: “Donna and Robbie are locked in a room, that has a door with a massive sign saying “FIRE EXIT” and they haven’t even tried it.”
Oblivious to the fact that they could pretty much leave whenever they wanted, Robbie and Donna ended up having a serious heart to heart.

And Whitney’s sneaky plan nearly worked out when the pair came close to kissing.
But Robbie ended up putting his foot in it and upsetting Donna when he told Whitney she’d wasted his time.
