Psychologists’ creepy theory goes that we’re all attracted to people who remind us of our parents – and it seems Brooklyn Beckham is no exception.
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham has sparked debate among fans after posting a series of pictures of his new girlfriend, Hana Cross – with many insisting she looks just like his, er, mum.
His 11.5m followers piled in to comment on the 21-year-old American model, with one pointing out: “She is very similar to your mother.❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Another added: “Third pic identical to his mum.”
A third said: “Looks like Victoria.”
One more commented: “Reminds me of someone 🤭.”
Others were shocked that people would be so judgemental, with one blasting: “What’s this all about comparing one woman with another? People with the negative comments need to get a grip. They are both attractive!!!”
Yet another added: “I’m ashamed to live on the same earth as some people who have commented on here about how this young lady looks in the photos. Love who you want to love, who are we to criticise someone we don’t know and judge their looks? Disgraceful. Embarrassing to read.”

Brooklyn, 19, went public with Hana last month, and the new couple spent New Year’s Eve together at the Beckham family home in London.
The photographer shared selfies with his girlfriend at the £30k bash, arranged by his former Spice Girl-mum and ex-footballer dad.
Guests also included David and Victoria’s three other children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
David, 43, also sent good wishes to his Instagram followers writing “Happy New Year from us all” alongside a family photo.
The fashion designer, 44, also shared a sweet picture of herself with her youngest daughter.
Apparently referencing her background as a Spice Girl, she captioned it: “Girl power xxx.”
