Fans divided over Denise Van Outen’s acting ability during guest appearance in Neighbours

The 45-year-old actress plays Prue Wallace, the enigmatic mother of Harlow Robinson – played by Jason Donovan’s daughter Jemma Donovan – who was against Paul and Terese meeting her.

But Paul (Stefan Dennis) and Terese (Rebekah Elmologlou) did meet up with Prue on their honeymoon in London.

Back in Erinsborough Harlow explained to step-sister Amy that she was dreading her grandfather and his new bride meeting her because Prue was in a cult, even though she described herself as someone into ‘wellness’ to Paul and Terese.

Alongside Denise, Good Morning Britain showbiz reporter Richard Arnold also made an appearance as sinister cult leader, Graham.

Complete with strange glasses, roll neck jumper and purple waistcoat!

It’s not the first time Richard has appeared in a soap – he made an appearance in Hollyoaks last year.
