Fans baffled as Katie Price compares her marriage to Peter Andre to TV drama Doctor Foster

The former couple were married for four years and have two children together

Katie Price has left her fans baffled during her one-woman show in Swindon after comparing her marriage to Aussie singer Peter Andre to TV drama Doctor Foster.

Katie and Pete tied the knot in 2005 following a whirlwind romance after meeting in the I’m A Celebrity… jungle. They split in 2009.

But speaking to her audience the former glamour model hinted their relationship was similar to the ITV series.

Doctor Foster is a fictional drama series which follows a woman, Dr Gemma Foster, who discovered her husband Simon was having an affair with a younger woman called Kate.

She then sought revenge on the love rat and exposed him for his infidelity.

Speaking about her failed marriage to dad-of-four Pete, Katie, 39, firstly said: “Once you’ve gone Greek, you’ve reached your peak.

“I never wanted it to end. It was all him.”

She was then asked by an audience member if she ever stalked Pete on Twitter.

But her response has left many of her fans extremely confused.

Mum-of-five Pricey said: “I don’t stalk anyone. Have you seen Dr Foster? That’s the answer to that question. Use your brain if you know what I’m trying to say…”

Katie was not clear in what she meant and it could refer to any part of the series.

Pricey has not accused Pete of doing the dirty and revealed they split because he thought she was having an affair – which Pete completely denies.

The couple share two children together – Junior, 12, and Princess, 10.

Talking on Piers Morgan Life Stories in 2011 Pete opened up about him and Katie going their separate ways.

He told Piers: “Katie said the reason I left her was because I’d seen pictures of her in nightclubs flirting with other men and presumed she’d cheated on me.

“That is not the truth. Those pictures were not the reason I left Katie. I would never end a marriage over something small, or little things building up.

“Something big happened, which I won’t reveal as I don’t want my kids reading it. But when I tell them, I’ll come on your show and reveal what actually happened.”

The former couple have now moved on with Pete being happily married to Emily MacDonagh while Katie is currently estranged from her husband Kieran Hayler.

Loose Women star Katie has been going through a tough few weeks after discovering Kieran had been cheating on her for the past year with the nanny Nikki Brown.

In her interview with the Sun On Sunday, she said: “I was gutted.

“For a year I was basically paying her to [BLEEP] my husband.

“They had sex everywhere except in our bedroom, they even did it in the kids’ bathroom.”

She added: “When I confronted him he denied it at first, even when I said she’d admitted it.

“I was crying, asking, ‘How could you do this to me again?'”

And dad-of-two Kieran has been brutally honest about doing the dirty on Katie for a second time.

“This wasn’t a big love affair, I didn’t fancy Nikki,” he told The Sun.

“I’m a sex addict and needed a thrill. If our nanny had been 80 I’d probably have tried to manipulate her into having sex too.

“It didn’t matter who it was, I just wanted a fix. If it wasn’t her it would have been someone else.

“It was a means to an end, the thrill of the chase.”

Shortly after exposing Kieran poor Katie revealed she suffered a miscarriage earlier this year and sadly announced her mother Amy is terminally ill.

Despite all of this the star is putting on a brave face and is focusing on her children and showbiz career.
