Fan ‘injured’ in Louis Tomlinson row threatens “he’s going to jail”

Woman claims she was "socked" in airport scuffle

The woman injured in the scuffle at LAX airport where Louis Tomlinson was arrested has said she is going to press charges.

Speaking on camera, she vowed that the One Direction singer will be “going to jail” for his part in the incident which took place on Friday.

Louis, 25, was walking through arrivals at the LA airport with girlfriend Eleanor Calder when he became embroiled in the row.

Being chased by paparazzi photographers, Louis was seen on video trying to stop the snappers taking pictures of them.

While he was involved in an altercation with one photographer, it’s believed that Eleanor was trying to stop members of the public filming it on their phones when she got caught up in another incident herself.

As Louis rushed to her aid, airport security were forced to step in.

According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s department, Louis was put under citizen’s arrest. He was charged with simple battery and a misdemeanour, before being put on $20,000 bail and then released.

Louis and Eleanor – who recently reunited after splitting in 2015 – were believed to have been returning from a romantic holiday in Jamaica.

“Louis was really upset,” a source told The Sun.

“After being filmed he told the snapper to stop, but he didn’t take kindly to the request.

“The row turned into a scuffle causing airport security to pull them apart.”

Louis’ lawyer Martin Singer released a statement on his behalf, saying “The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with Louis at the airport this morning.

“This is not the first or last time that a paparazzi has created an altercation with a celebrity.

“While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during this incident and he came to her defence, causing airport security to intervene.”

One of those individuals was later caught on camera, showing off a cut above her eye. She claimed she had been thrown to the floor and “socked” to the head.

In a video obtained by The Sun, the woman was filmed saying she would be pressing charges and telling Louis he would be “going to jail”.
