Former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas has revealed a change in direction for his career as he’s opening a bar and restaurant.
In a post to Instagram, Adam made the announcement and said he’s always wanted to own an eatery and he’s excited to get started on this latest project.
He wrote alongside an image of what appears to be the restaurant logo: “Ok so before you all sit down to Love Island just wanted to get the news out there!!
“Haha…. Been wanting to have our own bar/restaurant as far back as we can remember and we’ve finally done it!!!
“Teaming up with my partner in crime @ohmyglaze to bring you @thespinn_ coming soon to a village near you!!!
“Haha Cant wait to open the doors and let you guys see what we’ve been working on!! Until then get following the @thespinn_ as we take you guys on this journey with us!!”

His followers, including many of his celebrity pals, were quick to offer congratulations on his new project.
Brother Ryan Thomas’s girlfriend, Lucy Mecklenburgh, wrote: “Can’t wait!”
And Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent simply wrote: “YES!”

While no other details of the restaurant have been given, Adam’s “partner in crime” @ohmyglaze is a street food vendor, who can be found at street food events across the north west.
Adam, who left Emmerdale in 2018, has been spending lots of time with his family since his soap exit.
Last month the dad-of-two melted fans’ hearts with an adorable picture of his family to celebrate his little girl’s first birthday.
He accompanied the black and white snap with a cute tribute to his wife Caroline Thomas and baby Elsie Rose, who reached the milestone earlier this week.
“Building this family with you has been the greatest experience of my life… our little daughter is one!” he wrote.
“And what a beaut of a daughter we have.
“Thank you Elsie Rose for bringing so much love into our lives and being the most perfect little girl and mummy and daddy could wish for.
“Your laugh and smile makes time stand still. Love you, darling girl.”
Adam Thomas announced his wife had given birth to a baby girl last year with the loveliest photo.
It saw Caroline cradling their newborn, while their then three-year-old son Teddy laid beside her.
Adam sweetly captioned the post: “I owe you everything @carolinethomas23.”
Former I’m A Celebrity star Adam and Caroline announced they were expecting their second child in December 2017, just four months after getting married in August 2017.
Last week, Adam Thomas joked he might have a different career path in mind, when he said he was preparing to enter into Britain’s Got Talent with his son.
The 30-year-old shared a video to his Instagram stories of four-year-old Teddy singing and dancing around while twirling a pair of white socks.
He wrote across the clip, which was originally posted to his wife Caroline’s Instagram, “Haha you’re on, let’s do it, @BGT we are coming soon!”

In the video, Teddy offered a cute rendition of Mentor Williams’ 1970s belter Drift Away, singing: “Give me the beat boys and free my soul. I wanna get lost in your rock n’ roll. And drift away…”
He then added that he’d want to do it on BGT with his dad, so Caroline asked him, “You want to do that with daddy?” and he confirmed, “Yeah”.
