Former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote has savaged a troll who appeared to fat-shame her by asking if she's "preggers".
The ex soap star, 28, took to social media to post a snap of herself in a floral swimsuit that showed off her toned figure, telling followers she was enjoying a break from her busy schedule by relaxing at a spa.
She captioned the Instagram photo: "My one love when I am super busy is to have some ME time, nothing beats a spa day. Just booked a holiday too, will be taking this swimsuit with me! @primark #iworkwithprimark #primarkonelove #summer19."
Georgia's fans took to the comments to tell her how stunning she looks, with one writing, "Beautiful as always" and someone else commenting alongside a pair of heart-eye emojis: "Absolutely gorgeous!! WOW."
A third gushed, "You trying to give me a [heart] attack xx??" while a fourth told her, "Gorgeous and stunning as usual. You are a beautiful looking lady."
I won't let people like you make me insecure.
But one sad troll tried to fat-shame Georgia, commenting on her post: "Is she preggers, looking a bit big?"
Hitting back, Georgia demanded that the user "absolutely do one" off her Instagram page, telling him: "I am a healthy size six I will have you know and I won't let people like you make me insecure. So please keep your fat-shaming comments off my page."
Her response quickly racked up hundreds of likes as devoted fans rushed to her defence, with one writing, "Oh look at that, a 'man' offering unsolicited comments on a woman's body shape. Have a word with yourself" and another chiming in: "How derogatory towards women can you be?! Have some respect."
However, someone else spotted that the account behind the comment was a full-on troll page, informing Georgia: "He's been commenting on LOADS of celeb pages doing this. Fake page to get people annoyed... then comments that everyone is bullying him."
Georgia is currently starring in a play called Napoli, Brooklyn with co-stars Madeleine Worrall, Robert Cavanah and Laurie Ogden.
She played Katy Armstrong in Coronation Street for three years before departing from the show in 2015.
That same year, she featured on Strictly Come Dancing and made it to the final alongside pro partner Giovanni Pernice.
