Emmerdale’s Adam Thomas MOCKED by co-star after thieves break into his house

They stole his car

| Updated:

When you’re the victim of a wrongdoing, what you really want is someone to put their arm around you, tell you everything will be alright… maybe even buy you a drink.

No such luck for Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas, who plays Adam Barton in the ITV soap.

After the 28-year-old Mancunian had his car stolen, he took to Twitter to tell his fans to be careful where they leave their keys. He was probably looking for some sympathy.

But he didn’t get any from his co-star Michael Parr (Ross Barton), who sent an incredibly cheeky reply.

Adam’s initial tweet, posted alongside clenched-fist and angry-face emojis, said: “Someone came into my house last [night] while we were sleeping and robbed my car keys and took my car… don’t make it easy for the next [expletive].”

Enter Michael with his quick-witted response: “Not the only thing I did while you were sleeping 🙂 x”

Luckily for the 30-year-old from Merseyside, Adam saw the funny side and replied with his own saucy quip: “Never fail to put a smile on my face haha.”

It’s no wonder the pair have such a good rapport – they’ve played brothers on Emmerdale for the past few years.

Not that the characters have always got on like a house on fire, and it wasn’t so long ago that they were fighting after Adam accused Ross of trying it on with his wife.

Adam – who recently announced his engagement to his long-term girlfriend and mother of his son, Caroline Daly – has revealed that he’ll be leaving the soap early in 2018.

What he’ll do next hasn’t been confirmed yet, though he’s likely to have plenty of offers.

As well as being one of Emmerdale’s most popular actors, he also won viewers’ hearts as a contestant on the 2016 series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, in which he finished third.

Whatever he chooses to do, we’re sure he’ll keep up the bants with his on-screen bro.
