Emmerdale SPOILER: Shocking accusation made against Lawrence

Is this instrumental in his brutal departure?

Lawrence White’s life is about to be turned upside down in Emmerdale, after a mystery person makes a shocking allegation against him.

The Home Farm owner is happily doing a radio interview when a call comes out of the blue, leaving him in a spin.

We can’t tell you what the nature of the accusation is, but it raises questions over Lawrence’s morals and turns his family against him.

It’s already been revealed that Lawrence will be leaving the ITV soap later this year, and actor John Bowe didn’t seem happy about it when he announced the news on Twitter, saying it wasn’t his decision.

But at least he could be going out with a bang – literally, if rumours are to be believed.

Reports have suggested that Lachlan will shoot his grandfather again – only this time it’ll be fatal.

The unstable youngster took a pot-shot at Lawrence in one of last year’s most dramatic episodes, but incredibly the old man survived.

Lachlan went to prison for that assault, so his anger towards Lawrence is probably simmering.

And this latest bombshell could be just the excuse Lachlan has been waiting for.

Emmerdale has been scooping up the accolades recently, picking up six gongs at the British Soap Awards, including Best British Soap.

It also won Best Storyline for Ashley’s dementia, while John Middleton and Charlotte Bellamy were awarded Best Actor and Best Actress respectively.

Now, show bosses will be hoping that this latest storyline – beginning with Lawrence’s bombshell phone call – can help Emmerdale to repeat the success next year.

If it does, it would be the perfect send-off for John Bowe.
