Emmerdale’s Rhona Goskirk was left fighting for her life last night, after a tragic accident knocked her unconscious and bleeding to death.
On Thursday (21 February), the vet was crushed under falling hay bales in the barn by her boyfriend Pete Barton, who didn’t know she was there.

But fans couldn’t help noticing several blunders in the scenes…
Viewers saw a hungover Pete Barton get behind the wheel of the tractor – which had faulty brakes – only for it to smash into a wall.
However, those at home couldn’t believe their eyes when Pete then headed BACK to the house for a cuppa rather than check on the state of the barn.

If he had, he would have seen his girlfriend bleeding to death after the impact injury which left her impaled and with internal injuries.
But it was Rhona’s hair that raised eyebrows with soap fans, as during the accident her hair had transformed from her usual blonde shades to a much darker colour!
While stunt doubles are often used for possibly dangerous scenes, viewers shouldn’t be able to notice the change!

One eagle-eyed viewer tweeted: “Hey Props Dept… You could have got the right colour wig for Rhona!”

Many others questioned why Pete and Matty hadn’t known Rhona was there, and why they just wandered off to get a hot beverage after crashing the tractor!
One viewer asked: “If Pete knew Rhona was in the barn, why didn’t he check after the crash, also, nobody notice her car was still there? No? #emmerdale.”

“Personal responsibility seems to be out of use,” said another. “Pete knew he was [bleep] and not good to drive. Matty could have removed the keys. Driving a tractor whilst checking messages on phone. How did Rhona know the pregnant cows would be in the hay barn? #Emmerdale.”
When Pete eventually checked his voicemails, he realised his girlfriend was in the barn and rushed to find her.
Devastated to see her unconscious on the ground, Pete rushed Rhona to hospital where she underwent emergency surgery to repair the damage from the accident.
She was then given the horrifying news that she needs a hysterectomy, depriving her and Pete of every having their own kids.
Gutted fans immediately thought that the news could break up one of the village’s most liked couples…
