Emma Willis hints at joining Strictly Come Dancing for fitness

She said she'd get fitter by doing the show

Emma Willis has hinted she could do Strictly Come Dancing next year.

The Voice presenter has admitted she “loves the show” and likes the idea that the training would help her become fitter.

Emma is used to hosting shows such as Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother and The Circle, however, it seems she could choose to be a contestant on an entertainment programme instead.

When asked which show she would pick to go on as a contestant, Emma told Hello! magazine: “Probably Strictly. I just love that show.

“I’m not a natural dancer but you get so fit with all the training, so I think it would be a really great experience.”

The former Big Brother host is now presenting Channel 4 series The Circle – a reality show based around social media.

The programme is returning for a second series as Emma replaces Maya Jama and Alice Levine.

Speaking about her new show, Emma told This Morning on Tuesday (September 17): “I was skeptical about it before I’d watched it because I prejudged it.

“I essentially thought, ‘this is catfishing and should we really be celebrating that?'”

She continued: “Then I watched it and I had a totally different opinion. For me it was a glowing beacon of what we should all be aware of on social media and that is do not trust anybody.

“I’m super paranoid and I don’t trust anybody with anything especially on social media.”

Speaking about the contestants, Emma said: “It’s their choice if they play themselves or whether they create a character.”

The contestants live in confinement for three weeks but are given time out to get fresh air.

Emma said: “They’re allowed fresh air. You just have to time everything [to make sure they don’t bump into each other].”

Revealing the changes to the new series, the mum-of-three added: “There’s a live show every Friday which will be chat about what’s happened that week.”
