Emily Atack fans insist she is ‘too young’ for her new role

She is playing a mum of teenagers

Emily Atack has announced she will play a mum in upcoming show Almost Never, but her fans think she looks too young for the part.

The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star will play the mother of two teenage boys in the CBBC series and it’s caused some confusion as she is only 28.

Emily announced the news on Instagram this week with a shot of the cast and admitted it was a “very different role” for her.

She captioned it: “#AlmostNever coming soon!! A very different role for me playing a mum, and wife to the hilarious @colinhoultsuperstar .. YOU’RE BOTH GROUNDED @officialharrystill @oakleyorchard !”

Despite sharing her excitement about the new project, some of her followers voiced that they were baffled.

One wrote: “You’re not old enough to play a Mum 🙈.”

A second commented: “Playing a mum to teenagers at 28, I’d be insulted by that.”

A third added: “Far too young to be playing a Mum to boys’ that age 🙈.”

One sarcastic critic reckoned the boys who are playing the actress’ sons, Harry Still and Oakley Orchard, look older than her!

They cheekily wrote: “That look older than u 😂❤️.”
