EastEnders favourite Lacey Turner is set to tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend Matt Kaye.

The actress, who plays Stacey Fowler in the soap, could not contain her joy after her man popped the question.
Matt, who owns his own barber business with a pal, took to his Instagram to announce the exciting news, he wrote: “She said yes….ooooosssshhhhhhhh #fiance @laceyturner”.
In the snap, Lacey held her hand to her face and looked as if she was about to cry as she showed off her impressive sparkler, while Matt looked smitten next to her.
Their close friend Josh took to Instagram to share another picture of the pair, congratulating them on the news.
He wrote: “Just wna say a huge congratulations to my best mates @laceyturner and @matty_overgrown on there engagement so happy for you both love you both so much #best #mates #engaged #love #you #both #so #much [sic]”.
The happy couple are currently on holiday in Venice, and if their pics are anything to go by, it looks like he proposed on a Gondola ride through the city.

The childhood sweethearts first got together when Lacey was just 15-years-old, and the couple have remained in each other’s lives since.
However, it hasn’t always been plain sailing – as according to The Sun have broken up three times during their relationship.
After reuniting a few years ago, they have been strong than ever and their exciting news proves it.
As the amazing news spread, fans rushed to congratulate the couple on social media.

The engagement tops off a very successful month for Lacey, as she took away the gong for Best Soap Actress at the TV Choice Awards.
She also took the gong for Best Actress at the British Soap Awards.
