EastEnders legend – and we mean LEGEND – ‘signs up’ for Celebrity Big Brother

He'll be a bundle of laughs!

| Updated:

Oooh, not long to go now before Celebrity Big Brother returns to our screens.

Don’t worry folks, if you think it’s going to be as dull as the current civilian series, rest assured that the producers have come up trumps with a great mix of stars!

As you know it’s looking very likely that we will be seeing Girls Aloud legend Sarah Harding entering the house next Tuesday looking fantastic.

It has been reported that she will be joined by the likes of Megan McKenna’s ex Jordan Davies as well as current squeeze Pete Wicks, Helen Lederer, Brandi Glanville, actor Paul Danan and famous-for-nothing Jemma Lucy!

Now the latest name to be thrown into the pot is a soap legend who will have viewers chuckling with glee.

Shaun Williamson, who played Barry on EastEnders, is joining the cast, according to reports.

“Celebrity Big Brother bosses are delighted to have Shaun as part of the line-up,” a source told The Sun.

“He played an iconic character and everyone recognises him.

“Soap fans will love him in the house and he’s going to go down a storm with viewers.”

We all remember Shaun as lovable put upon Barry who was thrown down a hill and killed by his scheming wife Janine.

Since then he has done lot of theatre, appeared on Ricky Gervais’s Extras and is a regular on chat shows and pantos.

We reckon he will be the calm voice of reason in the house when the likes of Jordan and Jemma kick off in the way only Ex On The Beach rejects do.

Other stars rumoured to be joining the cast are TOWIE’s Pete Wicks, Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry, John Leslie and ex Corrie star Shobna Gulati.

However, we’ve heard word that some of these are not actually set to go on the show at all!

Which is a shame as we’d like to see what Pete and Jordan have got to say about their relationships with Megan McKenna.
