EastEnders heartthrob set to spice up Casualty

Hunk will get pulses racing in A&E

It’s been fifteen years since this EastEnders heartthrob graced the screens on the BBC but now he is back.

Instead of pitching up in Walford, which is the want of many old cast members recently, he is heading to Holby instead.

Michael Greco have got soap fans excited by revealing that he will be joining the cast of Casualty.

This is bad news for Easties fans that had hoped he would be reprising his role as Beppe di Marco.

Michael announced the news to the world on Twitter.

He had been a professional poker player until that point but now he thought it was time to get his acting shoes back on.

He wrote in a tweet: “Am delighted to be joining the cast of @BBCCasualty,

“Such an amazing show that’s maintained such incredibly high standards.”

Winterson’s, Michael’s agency also revealed on Twitter that he will be playing a new character called Phil Paterson in the A&E based drama.

It is not sure whether Michael’s appearance is going to be a one-off or whether he will become a permanent character in the show.

It has been 15 years since Michael left EastEnders, to head out to Los Angeles. He has never closed the door on a return to Albert Square though.

A couple months ago, he suggested that he wouldn’t be against going back to the soap.

He said: “I’d never shut that door.

“If the offer was there, you’d have to consider it.”

“I’ve been in LA off and on for the last 10 years and I don’t watch much telly, so I haven’t caught up with EastEnders for a long time.”

Let’s hope that Holby is his first stop off on the way back to Albert Square.
