The couple’s followers inundated them with messages to wish them well and congratulate them on the marriage milestone.

“I’m so very happy for you,” wrote one on Eamonn’s post. “What a joy it is to watch you on television each week and see how in love you both still are.”

The presenter told OK! magazine that the secret to his successful marriage with Ruth is that they still make one another laugh.

“We laugh and we’re interested in each other. We signed up for the long term,” he said.

Ruth added that living and then working together as co-presenters on shows like This Morning doesn’t get too much, as they try not to discuss work at home.

She explained: “I don’t like taking my work home with me… if you’re not married and just co-presenters, you go home to different homes.
