Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes are not ones normally left stuck for words, but after a revelation on This Morning from Katie Price, it seems the duo were in a moment of shock.

Following the huge amount of women in the public eye coming forward to accuse Harvey Weinstein of various sexual assaults, 39-year-old Katie appeared on the show earlier today and talked about her own sexual assault experience.

Looking downcast on the This Morning sofa, she looked at Eamonn and Ruth saying, Well I have been raped by a celebrity who you know.”

The couple looked surprised, with Ruth replying:You’ve never told us who it is.”

Katie continued: “You do know the person. You would know who the person is. I have never, ever said a word. I just don’t want to go down that road.”

Ruth then went on to ask: “You don’t want to go down that road because it will be too upsetting for you?”

Katie replied: “It happened years ago. Times goes on, and I think it’s best to stay out of it.”

Pushing her further, Ruth asked: “Say people said ‘What if that person did that to somebody else?’ would you still…”

But Katie interrupted the host saying, “There is a reason why I can’t say it, I will say off air. And then you will go ‘right, I see.’”

Earlier this week, Katie told The Sun Online that she would never name and shame the man behind the attack.

She told them: “I was raped by a celebrity but no, I’ll never name him, I just don’t want the drama.

“I don’t even know if he knows that I’ve spoken about him, I doubt he does.”

Some This Morning viewers on social media were angry at the former model not reporting her attacker,

It comes as many UK stars have opened up about their terrifying experiences with Harvey Weinstein, including Cara Delevingne, Myleene Klass and Lysette Anthony.
