Is it weird to fancy an 80-year-old when you’re a quarter of his age?
Deshun Wang is all guys #gilf goals AND might actually be the oldest model in the world too.
The trendy OAP is in fact an actor by trade, and has featured in films such as The Forbidden Kingdom and Warriors of Heaven and Earth (also VERY cool films too), but last year he absolutely nailed it on the catwalk during Chinese Fashion Week.

“Many people started noticing me after a catwalk show,” he said. “Some people call me ‘the hottest grandpa’. Some also said that I’m an instant internet sensation. But do you know what? To prepare for this day, I’ve been getting ready for 60 years.”
60 years?!
So it turns out that Wang has a pretty cool life story.
He started out as a theatre actor, then started learning English at 44. Aged 49, he started his own pantomime troupe and then a year later start going to the gym.
At 57 he created the only form of performance art called ‘living sculpture performance’. (We’re not entirely sure what that is but it sounds cool!)
Then at 70, he REALLY started working out…
This man is seriously what we should all strive to be.

“No one can stop you from succeeding, you just need to set your mind to it,” he says.
Deshun is one of a few older models that have made headlines, 56-year-old Nicola Griffin who only started modelling three years ago, and 60-year-old Philippe Duman who gained numerous modelling contracts thanks to his grey beard.
