Duchess of Cambridge helps kids to write Father Christmas letters on visit to farm

She helped kids enjoy themselves!

With Christmas fast approaching parents up and down the land are taking their kids to Santa’s grottos and Christmas tree farms to get into the festive mood.

And the Duchess of Cambridge is no different.

She visited a Buckinghamshire farm on Wednesday (4.12.19) to join in with the festive fun, and revealed that her son Louis also likes to be centre of attention.

Looking festive in a red puffer jacket and green roll-neck jumper, Kate, 37, joined children and their families in making Christmas decorations inside Peterley Manor Farm’s Elves Enchanted Forest.

The Duchess also helped to prepare food for the reindeers and wrote letters to Father Christmas.

When one child shouted, “me, me, me!” after putting his hand up to get attention, Kate ‘burst into laughter’.

The Duchess and her husband, Prince William, have been confirmed to appear on Mary Berry’s Christmas Special on BBC Two.

The royal couple is taking part in the festive special to give their thanks to staff and volunteers from charities across the country.

Some of the charities they visit during the show are set to include Action on Addiction’s first dry bar set up in the UK in Liverpool and The Passage, which is the UK’s largest resource centre for homeless and insecurely housed people.

Mary also defended Kate’s cooking skills after her husband blamed them for him being ‘so skinny’.

Mary said: “Kate is a really good cook.”
