Donald Trump’s outrageous comments about Princess Diana have loyal fans up in arms

President agreed in old interview he thinks he could have bedded her

Princess Diana fans are furious after President Donald Trump agreed that he could have “nailed” her.

The 71-year-old’s comments have resurfaced years after he first made them in a couple of Howard Stern interviews in the States.

The President – who has been a frequent guest on the shock jock’s radio show over the years – also called Prince Harry and Prince William’s mother “crazy” and ranked her beauty.

The Washington Post revealed the jaw-dropping comments after transcripts of the recordings were anonymously given to the website Factbase.

In November 1997 – just months after Princess Diana’s tragic death – the future POTUS agreed with Howard’s suggestion that he “could have nailed” her.

“I think I could have,” the New York real estate mogul said.

The father of five also rated Princess Diana’s looks saying: “She had times, you know, it was interesting, she had times when she didn’t look great, and sometimes you look better than anybody in the world.”

Diana’s looks are something that he returned to during a 2000 interview with his radio host pal.

He said: “I tell you what, I think she’s magnificent, Lady Di was truly a woman with great beauty.”

Asked if he would have bedded her, he said: “Without even hesitation. She was truly beautiful and people don’t realise how beautiful.

“She was supermodel beautiful, she had the height, she had the beauty, she had the skin, the whole thing.”

He added: “She was crazy but you know these are minor details.”

Trump has often rated women on their looks – from his own wife and current first lady Melania Trump to Kim Kardashian.

Princess Diana was no exception. She was ranked No. 3 on his list of top 10 hottest women. Melania was No. 1.

On Tuesday, after the president’s comments were widely reported, angry royal fans blasted him on Twitter.

Responding to a Newsweek story about the interviews, one person tweeted: “This is the grossest thing I’ve seen all day. I feel like I need a shower.”

Another POTUS critic added: “Amazing that our president can be so creatively gross on a daily, I mean hourly basis. #EmbarrassmentInChief #Disgrace2America #DirtyOldMan.”

Yet another wrote: “1. 45 is a pig. We know this. 2. This is terribly disrespectful towards Princess Diana. 3. I thought @Newsweek had higher standards.”

Meanwhile someone else simply tweeted: “He is disgusting.”

It’s not the first time that the President’s fascination with Princess Diana has been revealed or that he has discussed her on The Howard Stern Show.

In his 1997 book, The Art of the Comeback, he wrote of the royal whom he met at charitable events: “I only have one regret in the women department – that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer.

“I met her on a number of occasions. I couldn’t help but notice how she moved people.

“She lit up the room with her charm, her presence. She was a genuine princess – a dream lady.”

Two years ago former TV presenter Selina Scott alleged that the former reality TV star “bombarded [Princess Diana] at Kensington Palace with massive bouquets of flowers, each worth hundreds of pounds” after she split from Prince Charles.

She alleged that the New Yorker gave the mom of two “the creeps”.

On Saturday Princess Diana’s son Prince Harry met the president’s wife Melania in Toronto, Canada ahead of the opening of his Invictus Games.
