Thankfully, it seems that he’s had a reversal of fortune when it comes to his barnet.
Actor Alan Halsall, has had a crisis of confidence about his thinning hair.
He’s taken steps to breathe new life into his mop top.
Alan has joined the likes of Wayne Rooney and Celebrity Big Brother star Calum Best, in getting a hair transplant.
He paid a visit to Dr. Bessam Farjo at Manchester’s Farjo Hair Institute, and the results are incredible.

Alan had been the butt of many hair related jokes on the set of the ITV soap.
A source told the Mirror: “Behind the scenes, Alan and Simon Gregson have been poking fun at each other’s diminishing hair for a while.
“When Paddy McGuinness made a cameo on Corrie he also made jokes about his and Alan’s hair issues.
“So Alan decided to take the plunge into getting a transplant last year.
“Since then, he’s been the talk of the set.
“Everyone is really impressed with how it looks.”
